Dr. Ferrell grew up in the greater Charlotte area and attended Olympic High School. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also completed his dental training and received his DDS (Doctorate of Dental Surgery) degree at the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. Dr. Ferrell and his family then moved back to this area so that he might begin his dental career in serving the upper Mecklenburg and Cabarrus counties.
After working several years with other dentists, Dr. Ferrell was excited to open his own practice in April of 2008 in the city of Davidson (serving the Kannapolis, Concord and north Charlotte areas).
Dr. Ferrell, his wife Caroline, and their two children, Ava and Mason currently live in the University area of Charlotte. He and his family are active members of University City United Methodist Church in Charlotte. Dr. Ferrell enjoys participating in sports including softball and flag football. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Dr. Ferrell is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Cabarrus County Dental Association. Dr. Ferrell is board certified in the state of North Carolina to practice general dentistry. He attends multiple dental education courses, including those provided by the Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry and the Greater Charlotte Study Club, to learn the most up to date techniques so he can provide the highest quality care to his patients.

Renee, a native of NC, attended South Rowan High and has been involved in the medical/dental field for the past 15 years. She is an active member of her church choir and Women's Ministry. She and her husband Darren have been married for over 20 years and have 3 children, Joshua, Justin, and Jessica, as well as one daughter in law, Candice and grandson, Jayden. Renee enjoys spending time with her family, especially during their annual beach trip, watching movies and relaxing. She is very people oriented and is excited to be a part of our practice.

Brande is a NC native. She attended Northwest Cabarrus High in Concord and graduated from Rowan Cabarrus Community College in 2001 with a diploma in Dental Assisting. Brande has worked in the dental field for 9 years and is an active volunteer with the Baptist Dental Bus of NC. She and her husband, Steven, live in Kannapolis with their two daughters, Hannah and Norah. Brande loves white water rafting, making jewelry, cooking and spending time with her family.

Kristine is a Dallas, TX native but she and her husband Blue, now reside in Huntersville, NC. She became a registered dental hygienist in 2002, receiving her degree from Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte. She enjoys the challenges associated with helping her patients achieve their optimal oral health and is dedicated to educating herself on new advances in the hygiene field. Kristine enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, hiking in the mountains and playing with her dog, Squirt.

Caroline is a Charlotte native and now lives in the University City area with her husband, Thomas and their 2 children, Ava and Mason. Caroline graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor's and master's degree, both in nursing. She is active in her church with Consignment Sale board member duties, being a leader of a mom's bible study group, and teaching 3 & 4 year olds on Wednesday nights. Caroline's hobbies include sewing and playing softball, and she loves vacationing with her family at the beach.

Kate is a Maine native, but recently moved from St Louis, Missouri to the Huntersville area with her husband John, daughter Nataly born October 2010, and dog Wiley. Kate attended the University of Maine at Augusta where she got her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2006. She is very passionate about educating patients on their oral health and ways to prevent disease. In her spare time, she loves training and competing in triathlons and running events, hiking, and spending time with her family.
